IronStar™
Harsh winter environments where snow is frequent and snow ploughs are used to keep the roads clear can easily damage an unprotected in-pavement light. IronStar is a snowplow friendly in-pavement mounting that is specially designed for snow country. It includes one LumiStar™ lighting marker with a special housing.
The base socket allows IronStar to be installed flush with the surface of the road. The stainless steel fixture is hardened to Rc 60 to withstand direct impact of the snowplow blade. The protective steel shield may be easily replaced if necessary. IronStar is a solar powered, wirelessly controlled, in-pavement lighting marker for harsh winter conditions.
